Non-Medical Home Care Service

Non-medical home care is healthcare that is provided to a client that does not involve medical services or intimate care. It also does not contain clinical nursing services. You or your loved one can receive help for different types of needs on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

Providing Compassionate Care

Our non-medical home help support worker is available for clients who are living independently in their own homes. The support workers will provide compassionate and meaningful care to each and every client they interact with, recognizing that all people are different and as a result, all people require different care. The safety and happiness of our elderly loved ones is a top priority for ACE Project CIC.

One of the many benefits our non-medical home care assistant can provide is to help the client consume a healthy and balanced diet.

The support worker will teach the client about the food pyramid, provide a light assessment of the foods available in his/her home currently (for those who need help) and, depending on ability, accompany the client to the supermarket to shop for important missing food groups.

Working together to move towards a healthier lifestyle allows the client and support worker to create a real and lasting relationship that is truly dedicated to the well-being of everyone. The home care help we provide spans across many points of an elderly loved one’s life.

We can assist with:

  • Outpatients Appointments
  • Dental Hygiene Care
  • Skin Care
  • Toileting
  • Exercises
  • Companionship
  • Letter Writing
  • Discussing Past or Present Events
  • Planning Outings
  • Pet Sitting
  • Clean Kitchen
  • Sweep
  • Make Bed
  • Ironing
  • Mop
  • Change Linens
  • Errands
  • Assist with Dressing
  • Crafts
  • Playing Mind Stimulating Games
  • Reading to the Client
  • Meal Preparation

Age is not a factor when determining if someone would benefit from non-medical health services.

If you or your loved one does not have a need for skilled nursing services, you could qualify to receive any of the services at home.

We will conduct an assessment, to understand the service(s) you would benefit from. You will then be presented with a plan for the proposed care.

“For me it is essential that my care is reliable and engenders a feeling of safety, this has been exceedingly difficult to find elsewhere but has been delivered perfectly.

This has given back to me the security to take back significant control over fundamental aspects in relation to managing my life. I have also regained access to some of my more cherished social activities. All essential in underpinning my well-being.”
